What a busy week! We are off again to San Luis Obispo for a wedding that I need to shoot on Saturday. After a 6 hour drive we finaly made it to Pismo around 5pm. After checking in we went a found a place to have dinner.

Disneyland

Our weekend started on Thursday, when we left with my parents to Disneyland. Only taking us an hour to get there, we started the trip by enjoying a lemon-berry slush from Sonic. Sam discovered these the day before we left Bakersfield, and Anaheim is the only closest Sonic to us now.

Our first Disney stop began at Downtown Disney... enjoy the show!

Baby Update

Yesterday, Monday we met with a Doctor in Murrieta. To be honest, I was expecting the worst from my past dealings with Bakersfield doctors. When we got there, I wasn't impressed and the office staff which were abrupt in personality.

After a short wait, we met with the Doctor. She is a charming doctor who made excellent eye contact with me (that's a pet peeve of mine) , and was very polite to both Sam and Jacquelyn. She answered all of our questions and encouraged us to ask more.

We will be having another c-section birth which is scheduled early morning Friday, May 2, 2008. The birth will take place at the Ranch Springs Medical Center in Murrieta.

If this changes, we will be sure to let everyone know.

Jacquelyn's Dance Class

Jacquelyn had another dance class today. But, this time we came prepared with ballet shoes, tap shoes, tights, leotards and a skirt. Who knew that we would need so much stuff? And, we still have to buy a tutu!!

Jacquelyn did better in class today.. although I still had to hold her .. she wasn't as clingy so that's nice. But, I really think she enjoyed herself when she was climbing on the door! =) Maybe we are in the wrong class..

Today was Jacquelyn's first Dance class at the Diamond Valley Dance Acadamy. We thought it would be a nice experience for her.. I'm hoping within time she'll really love it..

Although, this was her favorite part. Getting the sticker.

A Day at the Park

Well I have been horrible about keeping up with any of my blogs! So, once again I'll try and stay current. Saturday the 1st, I drove to Bakersfield to shoot a wedding, what a dress! You'll have to check one of the others blogs to see it. So, Sunday we decided just to relax! Well, poor Sam had a "honey-do-list" as well as one of his own! So it's a good thing we had planned to meet Jessica, Mike and baby Maddy at the park for a picnic, otherwise Sam would have just kept on working. Here are some photos..

We hope that everyone had great extended weekend. We arrived to Placentia on Saturday afternoon, along with Scott and Jana and Sue and Billy.

It was a special treat to see Scott and Jana together, usually they are traveling separate because of Scott's work schedule, although he will be retiring in a year so that may change. Thinking back, it's been around two years since we have seen them both together. We saw Scott last summer and Jana over Thanksgiving.

I was also able to meet Sue and Billy for the first time. Sue is Twink's best friend who I have heard about but never had the privileged of meeting. - Sue it was great meeting you and I had a lot of fun hanging out with you and Twink, and we hope to see you soon.
Jacquelyn immediately took to Sue! Blowing her kisses and following her around. She has great taste in people!

The special occasion for this get-together was to celebrate Grandpa Jim's 90th Birthday! His birthday is actually on the 28th , two days after Jacquelyn's, but we decided to celebrate it early, by enjoying a meal at the Anaheim White House.

I shot very little this weekend, so I borrowed some photos from Scott. Enjoy the show!

We hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. We had to go to Bakersfield for a wedding to shoot. Our trip started early leaving Hemet at around 6:30am, arriving in Bakersfield at around 10am. I met with two clients before my wedding which started at 12pm. The reception luckily for me ended at 6pm, because I was exhausted!! This flu/cold thing is wearing me down. I have been living off of Tylenol and Halls for the last several days!

Sam drove which was nice, because I was able to take some photos along the way.

Don't we look like we are having fun! Sam took this photo of us this morning. We have been sick now for about a week. I thought we had passed the worst of it early in the week, but the last two days have been rough. And, tomorrow I am off to shoot a wedding in Bakersfield, that'll be a long day!

Although, it doesn't look like it in the photo, that is a baby bump people! And, not a fat roll!!

In fact, I still have not gained any weight with this pregnancy! (knock on wood!)

We are now 27 weeks! The baby seems to be doing very well, she is very active! I felt like she had the hick-ups today.

Jacquelyn is making the transition from our bed to her very own bed. Last night was the third night, and she is doing well. Although, for the last three mornings I find myself waking up in there! I'm hoping that this will end by the end of the month...

I couldn't believe the statistics that Matt Lauer shared on the Today Show this morning.

Sam and I often talk about going GREEN.. it is certainly easier said then done. It's amazing how accustomed we have become to convenience! It's horrible.

So what have we done to go GREEN? Well here is a list of things that we are trying to do:

- Avoid using paper plates

- Avoid using plastic water bottles

This was/is extremely difficult! We always drink more when the bottles are chilled in the refrigerator. But, "Uncle Dan" has bought us a Brita Faucet Filteration System, and for the last two days we have been using it regularly.

- Avoid using aerosols

- Canvas Bags - after watching this segment we have decided to invest in canvas bags. I found these on-line ...

So, what have you done to try and go GREEN? One important thing to remember is that it takes time to go GREEN, especially for those who are like myself and enjoy the conveniences that life has to offer.

Like most things that we try and perfect, it will take time. Any effort we make will help.

I am always recommending everyone start there own blog.. but don't try and keep up with it while trying to move.

Our move is finally done!! Thank goodness! It felt as though we would never be moved. We were packing for weeks, disposing of anything that we felt we could part with! And, the trash! We had a pile of trash for the trash-man that was soo huge, the neighbors couldn't believe it! I guess we got a little consumed with what we "felt" was important.. then we said the hell with it! All for the best.

We moved down here to Hemet on Sunday, the 20th. We were able to pick up the moving truck a day early which was perfect, so Sam and I were able to load it in around 6 1/2 hours. Dan was able to meet us in Hemet, late that evening.. we all stayed at parents, seeing how our new home was unfurnished.

My mom made us a great breakfast (as she always does) on Monday, and the boys went off to unload the moving truck. Which took another day. On Tuesday, Sam and I were able to unpack the essentials and get things organized, that evening was our first night here.

All I can say, is thank goodness we moved on Sunday and not any later. There is a huge storm over California and particularly the areas that we travel on. Take a look at some of these photos taken of the Grapevine, it is completely covered in snow. (We have to take the Grapevine to get to 210 fwy, in order to arrive in Hemet)

I hope by Monday, things well calm down and we can return to our routine. And hopefully, I'll be more consistent with our blogging. Hope all is well with everyone.

We have some news that we would like to share..

As you know we are expecting a baby .. It was determined last Friday, that we will be having a girl! =)

Also, we will be moving back to Hemet! (Didn't we do this last year?) Well, it must be that time of year.. because we have the moving truck scheduled for January 21st.. All volunteers are welcome! =)

We look forward to seeing and hanging out with everyone again! That's it for now...
